1970 Chevrolet K5 Blazer

Project Overview

The K5 Chevy Blazer was one of the original sport utility vehicles. This has been a family four wheeler that the Jones boys have thoroughly enjoyed.  If it could talk there'd be a whole lot of stories it would tell.  After Jack died the family decided to give his rig a new life. 

Jonesy's crew has used the K5 restoration work as a filler project to broaden our classic 4WD experience.  After 38 years and a lot of wear and tear, much of the mechanical systems, drive train and suspension have been overhauled.  We painted it Blue Granite Metallic, a 2007 GM truck color.  Our K5 was one of the first vehicles to sport the "Built by Jonesy's" signature on its tailgate. 

Jack would be proud.
