1963 Corvette Frame Disassembly Part IV
In this post, we will demonstrate the process taken to complete our 1963 Corvette Frame Disassembly Part IV.
We finished disassembling the Corvette’s frame and we received a large portion of our Paragon order. Now we’re ready to blast and paint the frame then get it assembled.
We disassembled the other side of the front suspension.
We disassembled the rear suspension.
Here you can see the rear strut and hub assembly.
Here is the differential before disassemble.
You can still see the assembly marks on the differential housing.
We disassembled and cleaned all the steering linkage.
The final thing we removed was the e-brake assembly and cables.
Here is the frame fully disassembled and ready for blasting and painting.
Our Paragon order showed up and now we have lots of parts to work with. We went through all the parts and confirmed that everything had arrived that was supposed to.
Here is the Chassis detail kit. This will be used for putting the factory stencil back on the frame along with all the various assembly marks that go on the chassis.
