1963 Corvette Brake Lines

In this post, we will show and demenstrate the process taken to install our 1963 Corvette Brake Lines.

We installed the brake lines on the chassis first.  Next, we started to assemble the control arms for the front.

The brake line clips that Paragon sent us were zinc plated, the manual says the clips should be black oxide.  We used some sulfuric acid to remove the zinc plating then dipped the clips in the black oxide mixture.

Here are the clips before and after they were dipped in sulfiric acid and painted with the black oxide mixture.

We then installed the brake lines and the brake blocks.
