In this post, we will show and demonstrate the process taken to complete the 1963 Corvette Split Window Coupe Glass Removal. We have photos and descriptions of each. Some descriptions will be plain and basic but we try to go in depth when it comes to something extremely important.
We have started the trim and glass removal on the 63 Corvette.
Removing the trim off the rear window. This can be a very slow process or very fast. Depends on you skill and care for the glass.
The trim after removal. We like to wipe the glass down and place in a secured location, usually up high over a white cloth.
The rear window removed. The glass will probably need to be buffed.
All the trim pieces have been labeled for location. Very important to complete.
The left rear window removed from the body. We usually go back and use a solvent to remove the glue around the edge.
The right rear window removed from the body.
Starting the removal of the wing windows, side glass, and regulators.
The door components after removal.
The window regulator removed.
